Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival Leh
Arrive at Leh airport, meet our representative, and transfer to the hotel. The first day is dedicated to full-day acclimatization in Leh. However, you can explore the local market in the evening. Night stay in Leh.
Day 2 - Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, spend the whole day sightseeing in Leh. This includes the Hall of Fame, a museum built by the Indian army. Spituk Gompa, a monastery 8 km away, provides a panoramic view of the Indus Valley. You can explore Gurudwara Pattar Sahib and Magnetic Hills. After visiting these, all places explore the confluence between Zanskar and Indus. Night stay in Leh.
Day 3 - Leh to Nubra 140 Km
Start your journey to Nubra Valley via the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardung La (5602 mts ). It will take 5 to 6 hours to reach Hunder from Leh. Khardong is the very first village in Nubra Valley. You will also come across Deskit Village and Hunder Village. Enjoy a Camel ride at Sand Dunes in Hunder Village. Have a visit to Diskit monastery.
Day 4 - Nubra to Pangong ( 160 Km )
After breakfast, start your journey to Pangong via Durbuk and Tangse village. It takes 6 to 7 hours to reach Pangong from Nubra. Enjoy the beauty of Pangong Lake, a treat for your trip to Ladakh. At its widest point, Pangong is 6 to 7 km wide. Enjoy the lake view from the 3 Idiot shooting point at Spangmik. Spend a night on the bank of Pangong. Night stay in Pangong.
Day 5 - Pangong to Hanle via Loma Bend (310 Km)
In the early morning, start your journey to Hanle. Hanle is located in the Changthang region of east Ladakh. Sightseeing in Hanle includes visiting the Hanle Monastery, which offers an aerial view of the village. One thousand people live in Hanle village. Hanle village is also famous for its Indian astronomical observatory at a whopping height of 4500 mts. It is the world’s largest astronomical observatory. Night Stay in Hanle
Day 6 - Hanle to Tso Moriri ( 150 Km )Manali
After breakfast, travel to Tso Moriri Lake, located at Changthang Plateau. This journey is literally over “no-man” terrain. It is one of the most isolated journeys during the whole trip. Tso Moriri is located at 4511 mts and covers 140 square km. Night stay in camp at Tso Moriri.
Day 7 - Tso Moriri to Leh (220 km)
This day of your itinerary is the most important day of the Shimla Manali package, as this includes the visit to the snow point of Manali. Snow points are used to be decided by local people, and the place is decided on the basis of the amount of snow gathered at the point. This snow point could be at Rohtang Road or Atal Tunnel Road. This day is dedicated to the Snow Point visit, Solang Valley, Sissu and Atal Tunnel. You can enjoy adventure activities like skiing, ziplining and other snow sports. Night stay in Manali
