Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Delhi to Manali
Arrive in Delhi and travel to Manali; Manali is 505 km away from Delhi. This distance can be traveled in 9 to 11 hours, depending on the road traffic. On the way, you can go rafting in Kullu. You can enjoy stopovers at Sundernagar, Pandoh, and Kullu. Night stay in Manali
Day 2 - Manali to Jispa (93 km)
After breakfast, start your journey to Jispa early in the morning. If Rohtang Pass is open, you can travel via Rohtang Pass, covering Gulaba, Marhi, and Koksar. Alternatively, if Rohtang is closed, you can travel to Jispa by crossing the Atal tunnel via Solang Valley. The total distance from Manali to Jispa is 93 km. Covering Sissu, Tandi, and Keylong would take 2,5 to 3 hours. Night stay in Jispa.
Day 3 - Jispa to Leh (334 km)
After breakfast, start your journey to Leh from Jispa. Start early in the morning, covering Darcha, Zing Zing Bar, Baralacha Pass, Sarchu, Gata Loops, Pang Morre Plains, etc. On the way to Leh, you will cross passes like Baralacha, Nakeela, Lachungla, and Tanglang La. You can have refreshments like Maggi, Tea, biscuits, etc. at Sarchu or Pang. Remember, there is a network once Tso Kar after crossing Jispa. Reach Leh till evening. Night stay in Leh.
Day 4 - Leh Local sightseeing
After breakfast, start local sightseeing in Leh, covering Sham Valley, the Hall of Fame, Sipituk monastery, and Guru Dwara Pathar Sahib. This sightseeing also includes the Magnetic Hills and Sangam. Stay overnight in Leh.
Day 5 - Leh – Nubra 140 Km
After breakfast, start your trip to Nubra Valley. On your way to Nubra Valley, you will cross the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardungla. Depending on road conditions at Khadung La, this travel will take 5 to 7 hours. After reaching Nubra, enjoy a camel ride at the dunes of Hunder. Visit Diskit Monastery, which offers a great view of the nearby villages of Nubra Valley. Night Stay in Nubra.
Day 6 - Nubra to Pangong 150 Kms
After breakfast, travel to Pangong, the most important place in your Ladakh trip. Start early in the morning by the side of the Shayog. Enjoy your lunch at Dubuk, one of the significant stopovers on the way to Pangong. Enjoy the beauty of the Pangong River from the 3 Idiot shooting point. Enjoy the silence of the lake with blue water. Night stay in Pangong
Day 7 - Pangong to Leh 220 km
After having your breakfast, travel via Changla Pass. Start early morning so that you can cover Shey Palace, Theksay Monastery, Diskit Monestay, and Rancho School on the way. Night Stay in Leh
